Traminer Festival
June 14th to June 15th, 2024

Thanks to the golden drops of wine, Croatia has been highlighted on the world wine map. Traminer is a variety that has celebrated Croatian winemaking. Since the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the British court has regularly enjoyed this golden drop.

Ilok wine has long been esteemed at European courts. Sixty years ago, it was precisely Ilok Traminer that was served at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

With around twenty wineries on the wine route, Ilok is an indispensable destination for all wine lovers today. The Traminer Festival is an opportunity to get acquainted with this widely known variety. The Traminer Festival attracts more and more exhibitors and wine enthusiasts every year. It is an opportunity for local winemakers to showcase their skills.

Some claim that Ilok is Croatia’s answer to the French Alsace and the Italian Alto Adige, wine regions most frequently found on international wine maps and recognized for their Traminer.
