Vinkovo in Ilok

Vinkovo in Ilok is the biggest celebration of this wine holiday in Croatia and the most attended multi-day wine event. Vinkovo takes place from January 19th to January 22nd, 2024, on the banks of the Danube in this wine metropolis. The extent to which Vinkovo has woven itself into the hearts of the people of Ilok and their guests is evidenced by the fact that accommodation capacities are almost fully booked.

For as the song itself says – as long as there is wine, there will be Ilok. Visitors can enjoy the scenography of carnival horse-riding and experience the carnival fair. The fair offers the highest quality, numerous Ilok wines, and selected Sri Lankan specialties such as fish, smoked carp, Sri Lankan sausages, fritters (uštipci), and cracklings (čvarci). All of this is interwoven with the warm welcome of the hosts, pleasant seating in the vineyards and taverns, and the highlight is a joint party in a big tent filled with the greatest musical hits.
